BASIC T.I.G (TUNGSTEN INERT GAS)
WELDING COURSE

This course is designed for delegates who are requested to set and safely operate T.I.G
welding equipment and to develop the basic skills and knowledge in this process.

 

CONTENTS

Safety as applied to the T.I.G. welding process (lecture and videos).

Welding defects/fault analysis and correction.

AC/DC applications as applicable.

Setting up and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum results.

Identification of filler wires and gases.

Autogenous fusion runs on downhand and outside corner positions.

Fillet welds and lap joints in the horizontal/vertical, vertical and horizontal positions.

Purging recommendations and applications.

 

MATERIAL 

Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Aluminium.

(Whichever is requested for the application).

 

DURATION 

5 Days

CERTIFICATION
